Año Nuevo Chino 2023: ¿Cuál animal y elemento regirán este año?, ¿cuándo empezará y cuándo terminará?

El próximo 22 de enero empezará el año nuevo chino, estará representado por el conejo de agua y su duración será hasta el 9 de febrero del 2024. De acuerdo a la cultura china, cada año nuevo significa el inicio de una nueva etapa en la que se pueden limpiar las energías y en este en particular, al estar representado por el elemento agua, garantiza un período en donde la abundancia será parte del día a día, fluyendo constantemente.

Los animales que representan cada año viene dado conforme al horóscopo chino, que se encuentra basado en el calendario lunar, por lo tanto se nutre de 28 constelaciones, además tarda 60 años en completar un ciclo. Cada nuevo año chino, inicia con la salida de la segunda luna nueva después del solsticio de invierno.

Las fechas del nuevo año chino se encuentran entre el 21 de enero y el 20 de febrero. Esta fecha también es conocida como el Festival de la Primavera, las comunidades chinas en el país y alrededor del mundo celebran la llegada de un nuevo año con festividades que despiden el que finaliza, y su propósito es traer suerte y prosperidad en el venidero.

Se cree que el Año Nuevo chino se remonta al siglo XIV a.C, cuando se encontraba gobernando la dinastía Shang. Sin embargo, sus orígenes se encuentran rodeadas de leyendas: una historia cuenta que un monstruo llamado Nian (Año), atacaba a las poblaciones y aldeas al comienzo de cada año. Nian tenía miedo de los ruidos fuertes, las luces brillantes y el color rojo, entonces las personas comenzaron a utilizar estas cosas para ahuyentar a la bestia cuando se sabía que éste estaba por llegar.

La principal característica que tendrá este nuevo año regido por el conejo y el agua, es que se trata de un momento de esperanza y de abundancia positiva. El conejo es el cuarto de los doce signos del ciclo del zodiaco chino.

Chinese New Year 2023: Which animal and element will rule this year?, when will it start and when will it end?

The Chinese new year will begin on January 22, it will be represented by the water rabbit and its duration will be until February 9, 2024. According to Chinese culture, each new year means the beginning of a new stage in which energies can be cleansed and in this particular one, being represented by the water element, guarantees a period where abundance will be part of the day to day, constantly flowing.

The animals they represent each year is given according to the Chinese horoscope, which is based on the lunar calendar, therefore it is nourished by 28 constellations, in addition it takes 60 years to complete a cycle. Every Chinese new year begins with the rising of the second new moon after the winter solstice.

This date is also known as the Spring Festival, Chinese communities in the country and around the world celebrate the arrival of a new year with festivities that bid farewell to the one that ends, and its purpose is to bring luck and prosperity in the coming.
