I personally next to hack and slash plus magic games my second favourite is combat fighting games. I enjoyed playing this game back then mostly for the customization apart from the fact that I get to learn to use a broad swords large sword which is my favourite weapon.

You get to choose from a library of different weapon styles and master which feels your style. Different types of sword category and others.
Learn to Master different sword styles that are mostly based on the cultural pattern of using them. The game dives deep into the styles with details that it creates a connection and you can feel if this weapon is your style or not. And choose which weapons you feel at home with it's fighting style. Train and become the best weilder of those weapons.
Soul calibur won't be soul calibur without the wide range of character creation and customization options. You can create characters to your liking. Unlock cool gears and even edit existing characters. You can also select alternate appearances of each weapons. Some have the soul edge and some have the soul calibur alternate design. You can also edit poses and background appearance at the character select when you snap a pose to the background to give it a cool effect and look.
It features a quick battle mode where you face random enemies and their dificulty of play is based on the number of kills and defeats they have. You get to face random customizations of characters with different tier and titles. You beat them and collect their titles and show off in multiplayer to friends.
It features a guest character as many gamers know him and the God of war kratos. And sure many God of war fans would want to know how it feels to Master kratos weapon and get to know the break down of the fighting style.

Soul calibur broken destiny is more of a train to mastery kinda game. You pick a weapon type and train to be the best and challenge stronger characters in quick battle and collect their titles. You are free to use the characters in the roaster or build your own hero with a weapon design of your choice.
You battle in a 3 round style combat that has stage fallouts. It has the basics a combat game needs that is special skills, good combos and mix-ups , throws as well and many more.
You can play versus mode as well which is multiplayer against friends connected via WiFi hotspot or adhoc.
Also there is a trial mode where you play like a ladder match and endless as well.
El destino roto de Soul Calibur es más un tren hacia el dominio, una especie de juego. Eliges un tipo de arma y entrenas para ser el mejor y desafías a personajes más fuertes en batallas rápidas y recoges sus títulos. Eres libre de usar los personajes en el tostador o construir tu propio héroe con un diseño de arma de tu elección.
Luchas en un estilo de combate de 3 rondas que tiene consecuencias en el escenario. Tiene lo básico que necesita un juego de combate, es decir, habilidades especiales, buenos combos y mezclas, lanzamientos y mucho más.
También puedes jugar en modo versus, que es multijugador contra amigos conectados a través de un punto de acceso WiFi o adhoc.
También hay un modo de prueba en el que juegas como un partido de escalera y también sin fin.

The story in this game is in form of a gauntlet mode and is more like training. It has 34 chapters where you complete short tutorial missions to bring about mastery. However it's not boring. It does entertain you with a story to read like a comic as you progress along the story and read about the adventure you are having some of the main characters in the roaster.
