In the age of modern technology, societal pressure is becoming more prevalent in our daily lives. Technology affects people in many different ways, both positively and negatively.

Various Factors Contributing to Social Pressure:

Social media, peer groups, families, and business partners are all places where societal pressure is present.

Family pressure results from parents pressuring their kids to pursue academic goals and courses and forcing them into relationships that they believe are best for them. On the other hand, kids are put under pressure to desire to please their parents rather than live out God's purpose and plan for their lives.

The younger generation is heavily impacted by peer pressure in churches, workplaces, households, and schools. Like they say all the time, the people you choose to surround yourself with matter. Many young people have engaged in questionable activities, short-circuiting their amazing potential, out of a desire to stay up to date with global events and obtain all the commonplace items of this world.

The world has benefited greatly from social media, but on the other hand, because of the positive role models they see and listen to on the platform, many young people's minds have been shattered. Numerous young men are involved in online fraud, losing a lot of their hard-earned money, and our young women are constantly engulfed in perversity as they want to emulate these so-called celebrities by imitating their skimpy attire to flaunt their attractiveness and engaging in numerous other vices. In a nutshell, social networking has caused more harm than benefit.

In conclusion, it is important to teach kids how to say "NO" in a society where everyone says "YES," where the good is often disguised as the bad, and truth is becoming a rare commodity. Put another way, there are a plethora of other reasons of societal pressure that can be addressed at a very young age, aside from the misuse of social media, peer pressure, parental pressure, and psychological pressure.
