And that's it. if everyone present here at least once a month posted a mention on fb about Blurt, I think it would get much more crowded here ;)
I personally use it a bit out of necessity because many clients want to contact me this way. I suspect that many of the people here also have a FB account for similar reasons.
Blurt is awful.
as they say never say never ;)
The problem with this is that there are not enough of us here and everyone is a kind of individual. You can't find a group of supporters here because it's hard to talk about a "group" focused around a given topic. Only paradoxically, without promotion and new users, it will not change.
It's a closed circle and not only for blurt but also for other new projects. Everyone is where others are and hardly anyone wants to try something else so 80% of the audience has fb ;]
Agreed. 100% … I will start to only post about Covid WEF and Sudden Death. This is what Blurt Loves
if most members are alternative publicist then they get interest in this what is their area of interest. The promotion is about expanding this group so that everyone can find their audience.
It's great that you've been trying to bring other people here for so long and it's a pity that you're giving up.
Thanks. Lots of different places to blog or promote…. Blurt is not for me.
These are not really subjects that interest me hahaha but it's your posts your choices ;)
Thanks for this 👍
I’ve bought tons of ppl to all those sites and they don’t stay. The retention is a bigger effort and issue than joiners
Only post about mean sheep. 🐑
well basically is because here are the people who wanted to write about that in other places but was banned or downvoted.
The problem is with the rest of the culture. As long as there is an acceptance for considering certain topics as those that we "don't cover", there will be a problem with such segregation.
the point is that it must be understood as an asset. Perhaps it is simply impossible to create a platform for mainstream people and those who reject the official narrative because the former are too manipulated and react too allergic to alternative content.
mean sheep
I’ve looked at this before it has 2 billion active users a day and none of these sites are a drop in the ocean hive has less daily users than when steem began in 2017. They are all missing something maybe it’s the ease of posting like on Fb i post links, one sentence I think perhaps the push for so called ‘quality content’ on these places is probably harming its growth. A lot of ppl who talk about quality content rly just put the same stuff over and over again and it’s nothing that special it’s just long and I feel a lot of people, honestly myself included see a long block of text and upvote it for ‘effort’ without even reading it. The thing is if we want to read something long we will probably read an actual book. On Fb I regularly get 250 + comments on often a sentence of text lol it’s mostly about the comments rly and the debate and engagement and that’s where these sites need to pick up imo. No one comes to them rlt to read an essay of stuff on the same topic every day. It’s delusional. Ppl are just upvoting for effort but there isn’t any banter and engagement
Having said that you can’t say you earn more on Fb. Maybe I can cause I’ve sold more of my services on Fb than I’ve ever earnt from
Blockchain socials but just for blogging or posting you don’t earn. YouTube you do tho and I regret putting effort into hive rly over building YouTube years ago but never too late to start. Lol
I would never invite someone I know to Blurt.
You’ll feel like that about all of them at some point I think
