Slithering through the grass, a snake is a predator that many fear. Snakes see very differently to humans, taking in blocks of shapes rather than the details within.
Snaking in real life is also an interesting concept. One might attach notions of betrayal and distrust with the snake but perhaps its also a form of survival and intelligence. Snakes see the wider picture and people who step back and use their strengths where possible to get an upper hand without regard of moral sometimes.
Snakes also make use of infrared light sensing pits to see in the dark and perhaps people also have tools to see things that are not easily discernible in life. Moving like a snake might even be necessary sometimes.
