I posted the other day about the possums that got under my house via a crawl space, so it was time to take action.
Jacob and I made a heavy wood cover for the crawl space and now all we needed to do was get the possums out, so last night was the night. I did a stakeout and baited the possums with some cat food. After a few hours of waiting, the "possums' finally emerged...
A huge skunk! So much for possums, but the cover did do the trick as I waited for the skunk to go exploring and then sealed up the crawl space. I watched the skunk come back 30 minutes later and try to get past our cover, but it couldn't so it gave up and moved on. Success!

Wow .... we had a skunk living in our garage for a while and I was surprised it didn’t smell more like a skunk 🦨 in there ... I guess it’s only when they spray ?? Took us a while to lure it out of the garage .... I did it with small chunks of hot dog .... made a trail and it followed it out. Took a long time to get the musky odour out.
