The induction period with freshers is becoming fun with each passing day.
These are some visuals from yesterday's session where we gave them topics to perform a skit as a team building activity.
Students were asked to devide themselves in the group of 8 and they were asked to give topics on any social issues within 15 mins. In total there were 11 groups with 11 different topics to perform.
Students first reaction was, why should we do this and why are you making us do this. They were very reluctant. Then they got the second shock, they chose the topics thinking that they are going to perform on the same. But we being teachers gave them the twist by shuffling the topics. Now they were even more anxious and upset.
Then we gave them 15mins to plan for their skit and called them out randomly to come and perform.
Despite of their reluctance and hesitation they did a great job. At the end they were all smiling and giggling. They all enjoyed it and so did we.
