It was a day for adventure today. Sorry I missed the hive-chat yesterday, I was busy building a deck.
Anyhooo, today was a great day for some adventure, so I hopped in the Toyota overland rig, and set sail (pirate sunday reference) for Echo Lake Provincial Park. Its about an hour drive from my house.
Here's a nice crop of Rapeseed.
Now the park entrance.
First things first. Fire, food, maybe a wee nap.
Then I went detecting the beach. Used the Garrett Ace 300i today.
Basically found nothing, a couple toy cars, and garbage, and after a while, a little hike, then back home. Part of me wishes I had tomorrow off, then I'd still be there poking a fire with a stick.
