Just before I travelled to Mumbai, I was on a shopping spree. I wanted to buy gifts for my family and friends. Though I travel very often I do not shop every time. In the month of August, I am always in India, reason being, it is our traditional New Year and I like to be with my family during this time. Since it's festive time I like to get gifts for everyone. Also, in the month of July it is sale time and there are very good offers, I get some good deals during this time and hence it is worth it.
Hubby never comes with me for shopping, he tells me I am mad, because sometimes even after spending 1 hr in a shop I may not buy anything. For me shopping is just not an activity, it is a experience that has to fulfill at many levels. Firstly, the look of the product, then the value for money and lastly the durability of the product. It has to match all the criteria. I would not want to buy it just because there is a offer on it. It has to be worth the price in terms of how it looks and its quality and durability. Otherwise, in the bargain of getting cheap things, I will end up with all junk in my home. And when I gift it to someone it has to be appealing for that person also.
There are multiple malls in the city, I picked up the one which has more outlets of variety of products so that I could get all under one roof. I visited the Avenues Mall. A year back Ikea was opened up as an extension of this Mall. I have never been an Ikea fan so rarely visit it.

Bath & Body works had sale going on and there were some very good offers.
These body sprays were available just for 1.25 OMR, which is around 260 INR. It is really a steal deal for this brand. Their body sprays normal cost is 1500 to 2000 INR so getting it in 260 is like a throwaway price. The offer was only on this particular one. The others were at a little higher price, but still they were also on good deals.

Bought quite a few things and was feeling extremely happy, because I could buy a lot of things at a very good price.
After that I treated myself with this Berry Choco Yoghurt. The name of this outlet is Pinkberry. They serve variety of flavors of Frozen Yoghurt along with toppings of your choice. This is the combination that I love the most. Chocolate flavor Yoghurt and topped up with variety of fresh berries.
These kinds of indulgences do kick up my senses. Back home here in Mumbai when I gave these gifts to my sister and friends, they are all very happy and that makes me happy.
