A shopaholic is someone who loves to shop a lot or who has an excessive or severe fondness for shopping.
Nevertheless, I'm a shopaholic. I'm not sure how long I've been doing it, but for as long as I can remember, I've always left the mall broke but with tons of clothing in my bags. The mall is my fave. The world's most magical location is there. I'm just here because I was just there earlier today. I'm becoming too obsessed with buying. I mean, everytime I visited a mall, I would be so eager to ride the escalator up to the footwear area. I enjoy shoes.
How horrible is it that I honestly believed that escalator to be a staircase leading to heaven? I always have to buy shoes, and most recently, some items for the house, once I purchase one item. My "mall-shopping" obsession was switched to online shopping during the pandemic, and I continue to receive packages from my online purchases to this day. hahaha!
Additionally, I'm a brand snob, which is a horrible thing. I'll only wear anything once or twice if it's not from a brand I adore (unless it's a pair of jeans).
And let's not even talk about bags. I have no problem spending a few thousands on a purse. I obviously lack the funds for all of this, but I don't care. It's awful. I'm currently perusing all of my purchases and I'm not pleased any longer. Even though I was delighted when the cashier handed me the bag, I now feel empty and ashamed of myself. And I'm anxious. In the next days, I'm going shopping, and I already know I won't be able to resist. I hope it works! Haha!
