Once I read somewhere on this vast internet that the older a human gets, the more they feel that the days, months, and years become shorter. And according to this article, this is due to the fact that with acquired experience, a person begins to unconsciously automate things, meaning nothing is new for that person, so everything becomes an automated routine.
Not that it's possible to escape routine, everyone has to eat, work, bathe, sleep, etc... But some routines can indeed be reconsidered, as sometimes it's something that was acquired in the past, when there was another goal and perhaps it's more hindering than helping.
Who knows if the path you're on isn't in line with your future goal, and because you're on autopilot, you'll only realize when that future arrives. Not that it will make much difference, because all humans die one day.
Well, this is just a reflection, as I don't wish to try to change anyone. It's as the saying goes, "Don't help those who don't want to be helped, or you will drown together."
