Drug Companies & Doctors: A Story of Corruption, Marcia Angell or non-paywalled.
Whenever you read some scare-story about an invisible enemy, or when you are told to "believe the science", you should look up at that quote that hangs on your wall.
From another former editor:
"The case against science is straightforward: much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue. Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness." [Horton]
You know you live in a psychopathic state when every agency does the opposite of what it was designed to do.
Do you think that the air, water, food, environment, drugs are all toxic by accident? Do you think gov agencies are incompetent? No, it's worse than that - they are now filled with malicious, well-funded, fully armed abhumans who regard you as a slug in need of salt.
Is there a solution?
"Can bad scientific practices be fixed? Part of the problem is that no-one is incentivised to be right. Instead, scientists are incentivised to be productive and innovative." [Horton]
This may be true of academic scientists, but much of science is done by private corporations and those corporate scientists must know what they are doing - and the consequences.
The really deep problem is that the rise in malicious fake-science masquerading as "mainstream" is the scientific ignorance of the vast majority of humanity. Given that this is also true of every profession, the one avenue for the general public to at least seek compensation from professional incompetence and malice is through the courts.
But those have been bought too. The law is also an agency of power that has been infiltrated and corrupted.
Publicised corporate fines are always a fraction of the profits accrued from the original malpractice. And thus, the rise in fake-mainstream-science is part of the whole take-over and subsequent take-down of society.
Either you see the whole problem with all its facets, or you don't. But ignorance is very dangerous - for all of us.
From our recent conversation you know how I feel about
I remember late last year (or maybe early this year) they were saying that we needed to be afraid of flatulence. I was joking with everyone that the science would soon say masks weren't enough, now we would have to wear diapers too to slow the spread of the latest exosome theatre.
lol. double-diapers!
there must be a few people in this world laughing their guts out at human stupidity!!
This level of stupidity can only be taught - with fear as the stick - most religions spring to mind ;-)
If you try to do research also you get some vague data, today if we go and do some health check up and test, most of the range are also not correct. Crazy crazy times
