Science Time

Hi Friends,

We took some time to do some extra "science" work with a recent science project from my son's school where they made homemade lava lamps.

You are only supposed to put one alka seltzer tab in the lava lamp but we decided to go outside and see what happened - here was the result:

Actually not bad, just a lot more fizzing than normal. Perhaps if the top was smaller the liquid would have shot out, but the bubble pressure had enough area to escape without problems. Nothing too crazy, but still was a good family science time!
