Salt, the NaCl of our lives that is found in many areas. I love salty treats but over the years, my reliance on salt for flavours has reduced dramatically.
Reducing salt intake has helped to regulate blood pressure. It's important to remember the body still needs salt but any excess intake can lead to long term cardio disease.
If you have blood pressure problem, consult a doctor and perhaps look into cutting out salt out your diet. It can make a huge difference and may even bring out the flavour a little more in certain meals!
