The Luring Offers

Last couple of days my Mail box has been flooding with sale promotions. The festival season has begun and with that there are loads and loads of offer of every nature pouring in. It's like overflow of these offers trying to lure customers to buy in to things. Now that most of the shopping happens online, the promotions are also online.

These discount mailers and promotions come in a way that it is beneficial for us to buy. But I sometimes feel that they are not, these are traps. You end up shopping more thinking that there are discounts and easy payment terms and then you might also end up spending money that you do not possess.

The online shopping portals are at a rise. If you order once something from them then lifelong you keep getting their mailers. You do have an option to unsubscribe, but I just ignore and send these mailers to junk. Once in a way they would come up with some good offers which I would like to keep a tab on, so I do not unsubscribe.

And then these bank emails, offering easy payment terms. Spending on your Credit card sometimes you go beyond your limits and then struggle to pay up. There are no free deals that one must remember. Everything has a hidden cost somewhere, so it's very important to not get lured into these offers and keep spending mindlessly.

Specially during festival times we all want to shop new things for our self and for our home also. Online shopping makes it easy all the more, shopping at the comfort of your home and you will buy things that you may not need by getting attracted with all the promotions that they make.

The terms and conditions are always mentioned in very small fonts which no one ever reads and then when the trouble arrives we repent.
It is better to stay in control in these festive season time and be mindful about the spending, not get lured with these offers and over spend that is beyond one's capacity to pay.
