Producing a quality image for a post is extremely difficult. It can take me several days to draw a professional quality image for Blurt. And when the time is up, I usually only get a few pennies in upvotes.
With AI one can start and image then have a computer do the tedious clean up work.
So, the InkTober prompt for the 23rd was "Rust." I wanted an image of a blockchain developer programming in Rust.
I drew the image below. It shows a chain moving from off screen to a block. It was then shackled to the leg and neck of the poor programmer, then shackled to the next block.
The programmer and blocks were just sketches. It took over an hour to draw the stupide chain.
The AI enhancement did an excellent job replacing the sketched programmer, but it did not put the shackle on the neck of a programmer.
I was extremely tired when I started drawing gears. I simply could not figure out how the gears should fit together. To make matters worse, I accidentally picked up the wrong pen. I used a pen with a rusty nib that unloaded on the image.
The AI did an okay job cleaning up the gears.
It still takes several hours to draw an image that enhances well through AI. But it looks like a decent way to create images for Blurt posts.
