That's a good point! There are so many conflicts around the world that the average person knows nothing about. World War 3 is happening, and many significant players, like Russia and China, are being underestimated. Things are going to get very bad, and most people will be confused as to why!
Also, this is a hybrid war - it doesn't always need physical arms - they only come out if enough people disobey. The police now all look like mercenary paramilitaries - that trend been going for 20/30 years, most noticeable in places such as UK. The only way to sabotage them is when off duty. Hah! Most people are confused about most things most of the time - hence I have largely avoided them - and are at their most dangerous, even to themselves - ignorance is dangerous.
All of which means that an alert individual needs to calculate the globalist scum, the self-serving minions and the moronic masses! Doesn't leave too many allies.
I have no faith that the masses can be enlightened - all that happens is they switch from one belief to another. Very few countries had anywhere near the deserved retributions post-WW2 - a few show trials, a few public hangings, but I don't see the depth of awareness of what taking sides really meant during that war. Which also means many keep open wounds still bleeding - waiting for retribution on what are now innocent people, instead of their grandparents.
All very true! I once thought you were being too pessimistic when you would say you lost faith in any possibility of the masses awakening, but I now see what you see, and it's not a pretty picture. I'm even deeper into the urban jungle than before, now that I'm in Rome, and it's going to be a seriously bumpy ride ahead!
Ah, my "home" city! Lived in spitting distance from the Vatican. Which was ironic given that my grandfather hated priests. He died before I was old enough to have a serious conversation with him. I also recall the "anni di piombo" - graffiti, blood on the streets, everything closed early - not quite La Dolce Vita.
You may wish to read up on how Rome was governed by the Nazis - and how people survived - is grim. You take care, man!
I imagine your old stomping grounds have changed a lot, apart from the obvious historical sites. I'm actually on the inside of Vatican City, and going in even deeper, not religiously, but rather for living and surviving the coming perfect storm. I know, sounds odd, but the alternative to going off grid is finding a fairly safe environment, if such a thing exists!
What do you mean "inside" the Vatican City? You got an apartment inside the walls!? The area around the Vatican is also still connected to many Vatican services, such as water etc. I worked briefly on the Viale della Conciliazione, but even that is technically outside the Vatican.
I haven't been there in maybe a decade, but all the buildings and monuments are so solid, nothing much had changed, just different shops and a Metro station.

I'm avoiding most people as well. In fact, I'm often pretending to be just as ignorant as everyone else. Not out of fear, but cleverly avoiding the psychosis of the masses, which is off the charts!
Yes, lots of research on hybrid wars with multiple attack vectors. I mean, why shoot people when you can inject them with a lethal "cure" - and all done probabilistically, with different batches, so that few ever suspect. This has been WAY too easy - the Pavlovian obedience has been deeply disturbing to observe.
And notice one thing, almost every attack vector is invisible! Brute force has been only used strategically. The sickening of society has been done through chemical, physical, electromagnetic, behavioural and psychological means = technocracy at its finest! ;-)
