It is totally a made-up concept that the AI algorithm made a picture of. I wanted something old and vintage looking like some outdated technology and used the photo of an old cash register as the seed for generating the image.

I'm picturing the "Thought Bubble Machine" as something that generates little bubbles of thought that float around in the world. Kind of like how the thought bubbles over the cartoon characters let the reader know their thoughts.
