I'm really sad for what happened for this tournament. This tournament was initially panned to be hosted by Sri Lanka. But unluckily ICC based Sri Lanka cricket and they also moved this tournament to South Africa.

Sixteen teams are set to participate in the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup South Africa 2024, engaging in 41 matches. Eleven teams secured automatic qualification based on their standing as the best-placed Full Member nations in the previous 2022 event, including Afghanistan, Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Zimbabwe.
