How the gamers in the house.
One would say why talk about ppsspp games. For starters they are portable and also playable on the android and ios devices.
I will be randomly selecting games to review, so far I've played over 70+ PPSSPP games
Today I will cover one of the very first I played which is dragon ball z shin budokai 2

Its a game released in 2007 as a sequel to same title.
Personally I first saw the game in a top 20 ppsspp games video I watched long ago, I cant remember exactly which video. What caught my attention was the fact that they fought on air too, I was like darn that is so cool. And it was a bit prior to when I later watched the TV show and then I just had to download the game because it felt like actually fighting in the movie.
I got to download and play the game, I believe the file size is about 500mb.

The game offered quite a good feature to me personally.
- Flying was one
- Noisy power up was also there. If that wasn't there, it wont feel like its based from the movie
- Insane dodging motions, also quite a trait of the movie as well
- Reversal and pursuit attacks. You literally evade and counter strike or end a combo with a chase attack that could end with a special move.
- Transformations. DBZ wont be DBZ with out the transformations to stronger versions of themselves. This is basically why I loved it, sometimes you wont feel like you are repeating same moves over and over again when you can just transform get a new visual feel and also some difference in special attacks; how ever not most characters can transform.
- Special moves, the special moves come in 3 forms, Ultimate, and 2 other varying moves with 1 being mostly projectile beams or balls. On a normal bases all characters have projectiles but not as powerful as the SP versions.
- Rush power up, this to me in the few dragonball games I've played is the thing I love the most during the gameplay, how it amplifies damage and how efficient its mechanism is here.
Probably cant run down all the features I leave you to discover most as you play.

But the final I will mention is the store, its really a great store to strengthen your choice of play style and upgrade exactly what works most for you.
It has 24 Unique characters to play with.
The story mode style is quite something I didn't experience in the games I played before , but it was easy to grab the play style soon

It has a fast paste game play with simple and easy to master combinations. With very short special attacks input.
Its a game where one has many options of strategy to choose from and a high degree of freedom of movement.
Its really got all the basics vs combat game should have and even more with good dodge features, chases and counters an flight. Also some pretty basic combo mix ups.

I will only share a little about it.
Chapter 1
After the defeat of the Androids and Future Cell, Future Trunks enters the World Martial Arts Tournament. He meets Future Kibito and Future Shin, who inform him of Future Babidi's plan to resurrect Future Majin Buu with the help of his henchman Future Dabura. During their match, Future Kibito asks Future Trunks to turn Super Saiyan, which lures Future Dabura into stealing his energy for the Majin Buu Resurrection. Against Future Supreme Kai's will, Future Trunks pursues Future Dabura and fights him:

If he defeats Future Dabura, after being wounded by Future Dabura while protecting a city from one of his Ki Blasts, Future Trunks realizes that he can not do it alone and the story progresses to chapter 2.
If he fails to defeat Future Dabura, one of Future Dabura's Ki Blasts mortally wounds Future Kibito when the latter takes the terrible blast with his own body to protect Future Trunks. Though Future Kibito saved him from one blast, another comes shortly thereafter and hits Future Trunks. With no means of healing him, they have to resort to medical treatment. Meanwhile, with no one to oppose them, Future Babidi and Future Dabura gather enough energy to resurrected Future Majin Buu, who kills Future Dabura in short order and soon, where at first he was heeded by Buu, Future Babidi himself is killed as well. With no orders, Future Buu simply goes on destroying, purely for innocent fun. Though injured, Future Trunks is the only one who can face Future Majin Buu. Future Buu kills him in a battle. With the death of Future Trunks, the fate of the world is sealed: Future Buu destroys the world, and then the universe, then he turns to the Kais. Those who could have stopped Buu were long gone, the world will soon return to nothingness.

PPSSPP games graphics are not that bad compared to newer console games, it has the quality of a PC and its a emulator on the go. Do check it out if you haven't.
