Doña Alicia, a Different Restaurant

I recently delivered these photos to the client and now I want to share them with our community because there's a topic that is new for us Cubans. It's about Doña Alicia restaurant, located in the municipality of Centro Habana. This is where we did this session for a money transfer company called TropiPay. It's for that reason that in some of the images can be seen references to this business, which is one of the active payment methods in the place.

But the main topic I want to talk about is the technology installed here and how it impacts the service that customers receive. Upon arrival there is a tablet at each table with an app that displays the menu of the day and its prices. This information is updated daily. Each customer only has to check and select what he/she wants to order, and at the same time see the total cost that's being generated live. From the application it's also possible to call the waiter to request other services.

The interesting thing is that, once the food is ready, it's placed in the kitchen on a robot that transports it to the corresponding table. There, it's removed from the robot by a waiter and placed on the table, although customers can also do this last step by themselves if they wish.

A special mention for the quality of the food itself, which is spectacular.

The owner of this establishment also has a second restaurant with these same technological characteristics in the same municipality, but at some distance from this one.
