The process and result of effectively adjusting to trying or demanding situations in life is resilience, particularly when it comes to behavioral, emotional, and mental flexibility and adjusting to both internal and external challenges. Resilience is frequently described in terms of "bouncing back." However, I prefer to think of it as "bouncing beyond" hardship. Any unpleasant or challenging situation you go through will unavoidably cause you to grow and evolve. As a result, by definition, growth precludes returning to your pre-adversity state of mind or thinking. That's "bouncing beyond" then!

FOUNDATIONS OF RESILIENCE:

1 . SELF-ASSURANCE .
Psychology As of right now, confidence is defined as "having faith in oneself, the conviction that one can overcome obstacles and succeed in life—and the willingness to act accordingly." A realistic understanding of one's talents and a sense of security in that understanding are prerequisites for confidence. With confidence, you can face any obstacles head-on, knowing that you're capable of handling them and coming up with a workaround.

2 . ADAPTATION.
. The talent and attribute of being able to adapt to new circumstances is known as adaptability. How you react to a circumstance or problem depends on your level of adaptability.

3 . POSITIVITY .
Here, we do not mean naïve optimism, but rather a realistic optimism that takes into account the circumstances at hand while allowing for sufficient faith, drive, positive outlook, and momentum to overcome or get around an obstacle.

4 . PERSPECTIVE.
Nobody is an expert on everything. In order to develop resilience, it's critical to be able to assess a problem or circumstance from several perspectives. It's possible that you'll hear a fresh perspective or notion that you hadn't previously thought of, changing the course of events and leading to a better conclusion.

5 . STAMINA .
It takes time to develop resilience and become a resilient person. Even though you may have shown resilience once, are you able to consistently use it to deal with the difficulties and challenges life presents? Can you work at anything for an extended period of time? You must in order to reach mastery!

The foundation of the soft skills you'll need to successfully navigate the next phase of the workforce is made up of all the resilience pillars working together. It is best to try developing resilience as soon as possible rather than waiting until you need it. It's important to include these pillars into your everyday routine so that you always have a backup supply available. "Change is the only constant in life," as Heraclitus once observed. Building resilience will make you not just prepared, but also able to bounce back from previous setbacks and beyond!
