As the day before India's Republic Day approaches, I find myself feeling a mix of relaxation and excitement. The holiday tomorrow means that I have the luxury of coming home from work later than usual, and I plan to make the most of this extra time by watching the Republic Day parade on YouTube or television.
The parade is a grand event that showcases India's rich cultural heritage and military might. It is held annually on January 26th, to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution of India and the transition of India from a British colony to a republic.
You will be able to watch the parade live on the Times now YT channel, the one you see below.
So, as a patriotic Indian, I am looking forward to watching the parade and feeling proud of my country and its achievements.
Unfortunately, my day was not without its setbacks. Yesterday, I had initiated a warranty claim request for a defective gaming mouse that I had purchased. I had been facing some issues with the mouse and I thought it would be best to get it replaced under warranty.
But to my disappointment, I received an email today rejecting my request. I understand that sometimes, things don't go as planned and I can't change the outcome but I think it's best for me to purchase a new gaming mouse instead of spending more time on a mouse that is not worth the investment.
On a more positive note, my brother and I had the opportunity to enjoy some delicious Punjabi food from a local dhaba. We shared the meal together and it was a great way to spend some quality time with family. Punjabi cuisine is known for its rich and flavorful dishes, and I relished every bite.
As the day comes to an end, I am looking forward to tomorrow's celebrations and taking some time to rest. The Republic Day is an important day for all Indians and it's a day to remember the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters, who fought for the independence of our country.
It's a day to celebrate our unity and diversity, and to remember the values of freedom, justice, and equality that are at the heart of our republic. I wish everyone a happy Republic Day in advance, and I look forward to connecting with all of you again tomorrow.
Thank you
