Soldering Iron

in repairs •  4 years ago

Hi Friends,

I pulled out the soldering iron the other day as my son dropped a remote control for one of our remote control cars and it busted open. When it broke, the connectors to the battery pulled out and just left hanging wires.

I was able to get the wires melted back on to the contacts with the soldering iron and then duct taped the remote control back together. Check it out:

The good news is that the car is back in action. The back news is we look pretty pathetic with our duct taped remote - maybe we should have used black electrical tape instead so that it blended in a little bit. Oh well!

Thanks for stopping by today,
Brian
