When I look at people today, they seem to worship something even though they don't call it "religion". We call drinks "comfort" and we call pop stars "idols" and "stars" spending hours of devotion and excessive expense to see them. The paradox of our time is the strong religion called "no religion".
I have to agree with 2 Timothy 3 that we are heading towards this time...
"For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof ..." (2 Ti 3:1-5 KJV)
I would rather have “no religion” than the hypocrisy of saying you love God but murder your neighbours in the name of that same God. Allah, YHVH, Jesus, etc etc
Any God that commands you to kill your fellow man must certainly be Evil.
Whether you like it or not, people will worship and serve something. There will never be "no religion" but you can imagine a place where there is no country and no stated religion where people know love in place of fear.
