Solitude amid crowds.

Today, with the pandemic, I am locked up at home and in quite a bit of isolation.

This is perhaps why I have longed to be in other places with more people, but I have also remembered that even with the time before the pandemic, the extensive and intensive use of communication technology had achieved, paradoxically or at least ironic, to make us communicate less with people who were physically close.

So, that old feeling of the poet or the romantic writer of being alone in the midst of crowds, because it was present in the common human being when he noticed that he was more linked to his communication technology than to the live interaction with other people.
