Proper waste segregation is one way of giving back and showing our love to our mother earth. By this simple method of sorting different elements , we can recycle and re-use some recycleable materials and somehow prevent and slow down the rapid growth of non biodegradable waste in our community.
Since we comsume so much of bottled water, we decided to allocate the biggest bin we have for plastic waste.
Twice a week we buy pizza and in most cases it is delivered in an enclosed carton box but most of this boxes were re-used as seedling trays for our garden what ever is not in use, we put it here.
Here we put everything that does not belong to either paper waste, plastic waste and biodegradable waste.
Every day before the sun goes down we always empty this bin to prevent the accumulation of foul odor. We have an entire section/space in the garden allocated to for our daily kitchen waste. This our our source of natural soil fertilizer.
