Each droplet dances with delight,

It falls upon the thirsty earth,

Transforming landscapes with its mirth,

The rooftops sing, the windows weep,
As rain performs its dance so deep,
In shadows where the secrets sleep,
Through every crevice, it will seep.

The leaves are kissed by liquid grace,
It traces paths upon each face,
A transient, tender, cool embrace,
That whispers of a distant place.

Beneath the clouds, the world is hushed,
With every raindrop, nature’s brushed,
In quiet tones, the earth is flushed,
With colors pure, and feelings crushed.

Puddles form and mirrors gleam,
Reflecting sky in a liquid dream,
A fleeting, sparkling, joyous stream,

The scent of rain, the petrichor,

Children splash in gleeful play,
