The first day of University life is is an important day for many of us when we were student. But in Bangladesh there is a bad practice in about among all the universities which is called ragging. Now the situation is is severe and it can be treated as social disease. The students on the newcomers who entered into the University on the first day they face some awkward situation from the seniors. The senior students of the universities try to Mentally torture to the newcomers that is the tradition which is called ragging.
It is very bad practice and in previous times it was hidden and the authority and the administration were out of knowledge about this scenario and happening what's going on. But in recent days there was some tragic incidents like suicide which makes it a vital issue for the administration and the authority. So government has ordered not to permit any kinds of ragging in any campus of the Bangladesh. Basically the senior students try to dominate the juniors from the first day of the university life. That is the tendency and from the tendency they try to control over the juniors from the first day by putting them into puzzle at any means of mental or other way.
Just before the Corona pandemic situation Vivo are asked to to motivate our students to stop ragging in the campus. By following the government rules and regulations it is basically prohibited to ragging other students in the University Campus. As we know order is order but still we need to motivate the students so that they can refrain from doing so. So by arranging a program with try to motivate them through our speech so that they can get out of the previous culture. Again in the photographs you can see some anti ragging campaign where festoon and banner has been made in several path and area of the campus to motivate the students with some moral words. When the mob here and there in the campus they will look and read those words and hopefully they will have a good mindset on the issues. So this kind of campaign is also really important so that it will remind them again and again when they will look they will remind when they will look again they will remind and in that way there will be a mind set in their mind that it is prohibited and they should get out of the ragging.
I was the part of that anti ragging committee so I tried to do my part along with my other colleagues. This is the banner and festivals you can see what we have just put it into the wall of several part in the campus so that students can easily notice this moral quotes.
