The 24th Match of the Big Bash League 2021-22 was played yesterday between Sydney Thunder and Perth Scorchers at Manuka Oval, Canberra. In which Sydney Thunder beats Perth Scorchers by 34 runs.

Perth Scorchers won the toss and invited Sydney Thunder to bat first, Sydney Thunder batted first started the not very well, lost 2 wickets just for 23 runs, Matthew Gilkes dismissed just for 2 runs, and Alex Hales dismissed just for 13 runs, after that Jason Sangha and Sam Billings came to bat, handled the inning and played a very brilliant century partnership of 116 runs for the third wicket, the third wicket has gone for 136 runs in third ball of the 15th over, Sam Billings dismissed after playing a very brilliant quick half-century inning of 67 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 10 boundaries in just 35 balls, next batsman Alex Ross came to bat, and he dismissed just for 6 runs in 6 balls as fouth wicket in first ball of the 16th over, the team score was 147 runs, next batsman Daniel Sams came to bat, and he also dismissed just for 10 runs in 4 balls as fifth wicket in 15.5 over, the team score was 158 runs, followed by Ben Cutting came to bat, and he good strike rotate with Jason Sangha for a while, the sixth wicket has gone for 177 runs in 17.5 overs, Ben Cutting dismissed just for 10 runs in 6 balls, next batsman Nathan McAndrew came to bat, after he moments he also dismissed just for 6 runs in 5 balls, followed by Chris Green came to bat, and he remains unbeaten after scoring 14 runs in just 6 balls with Jason Sangha, and Jason Sangha played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century inning of 56 runs with the help of 5 boundaries in just 46 balls. Sydney Thunder bowlers performed very brilliantly, Nathan McAndrew took 3 wickets for 40 runs, Saqib Mahmood took 2 wickets for 29 runs, Chris Green also took 2 wickets for 29 runs and Daniel Sams got 1 wicket.

Sydney Thunder batsman Sam Billings was selected as the best player of the match, he played a very brilliant quick half-century inning of 67 runs with the help of 2 sixes and 10 boundaries in just 35 balls.
