Comilla Victorians win over Chattogram Challengers by 52 runs in the 13th Match of the BBL 2022.

The 13th Match of the Bangladesh Premier League 2022 played today between Chattogram Challengers and Comilla Victorians, at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram. In which Comilla Victorians won the match by a big margin of 52 runs.

Chattogram Challengers won the toss and invited Comilla Victorians to bat first, Comilla Victorians batted first, started the inning not very well, Liton Das and Mahmudul Hasan Joy came to start the inning, the frist wicket has gone very quickly just for 4 runs in third ball of the second over, Mahmudul Hasan Joy dismissed just for 1 run, the next batsman Faf du Plessis came to bat, handled the innign and played a very brilliant half-century partnership of 80 runs with Liton Das, the second wicket has gone for 84 runs in fourth ball of the 11th over, Liton Das dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 47 runs with the help of 1 six and 5 boundaries in just 34 balls, next batsman Imrul Kayes came to bat, and he dismissed just for 1 runs as third wicket in 11.5 over, the team score was 86 runs, followed by Cameron Delport came to bat handled the inning and finsish the inning very brilliant with Faf du Plessis, Faf du Plessis played a very brilliant quick unbeaten half-century inning of 83 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 8 boundaries in just 55 balls, and Cameron Delport also played a very brilliant unbeaten quick half-century inning of 51 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 4 boundaries in just 23 balls. In this way, Comilla Victorians batted after losing the toss scored 183 runs for losing just 3 wickets in stipulated 20 overs and set a very strong target of 184 runs for Chattogram Challengers.

Chattogram Challengers bowlers Nasum Ahmed took 2 wickets for 23 runs, and Benny Howell got 1 wicket for 31 runs.

Chattogram Challengers chasing 184 runs the entire team dismissed just for 131 runs in the third ball of the 18th over, Chattogram Challengers started the inning very badly, Will Jacks played a very brilliant quick half-century inning of 69 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 7 boundaries in just 42 balls, Mrittunjoy Chowdhury scored 13 runs 12 12 balls, Mehidy Hasan 10 runs in 9 balls, apart from this no batsman could play well, Naeem Islam scored 8 runs, Rejaur Rahman Raja remains unbeaten for 6 runs, Sabbir Rahman scored 5 runs, Afif Hossain 4 runs, Kennar Lewis 4 runs, Shoriful Islam 4 runs, Benny Howell 2 runs, and Nasum Ahmed 1 run. In this way, Chattogram Challengers chasing 184 runs in the second inning the entire team all-out just for 131 runs in 17.3 over and lost the match by a big margin of 52 runs.

Comilla Victorians bowlers performed very brilliant bowling, Nahidul Islam took 3 wickets just for 17 runs, Mustafizur Rahman, Tanvir Islam and Shohidul Islam got 2-2 wickets, and Karim Janat got 1 wicket.

Comilla Victorians's batsman Faf du Plessis was selected as the best player of the match, he played a very brilliant quick unbeaten half-century inning of 83 runs with the help of 3 sixes and 8 boundaries in just 55 balls.
