The 2nd ODI Match of the India Women tour of New Zealand, 2022 played today at John Davies Oval, Queenstown. In which New Zealand Women beats Indian Women by 3 wickets.
India Women batted first after winning the toss, started the inning very started the inning very brilliantly, Sabbhineni Meghana and Shafali Verma came to start the inning and gave a briliant start with a half-century partnership of 61 runs for the first wicket, the first wicket has gone for 61 runs in first ball of the 12th over, Shafali Verma dismissed after scoring 24 runs in 38 balls, next batsman Yastika Bhatia came to bat handled the inning and played a brilliant partnership of 49 runs with Sabbhineni Meghana, the second wicket has gone for 110 runs in third ball of the 21st over, Yastika Bhatia dismissed after scoring 31 runs in 38 balls, next batsman Mithali Raj came to bat, menwhile the third wicket has also gone for 111 runs in second ball of the 22nd over, Sabbhineni Meghana dismissed after playing a brilliant inning of 49 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in 50 balls, followed by Harmanpreet Kaur came to bat, and she dismissed just for 10 runs in 18 balls as fourth wicket in 28.1 over, the team score was 135 runs, next batsman Richa Ghosh came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant century partnership of 108 runs with Mithali Raj, the fifth wicket has gone for 243 runs in 45.5 over, Richa Ghosh dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 65 runs with the help of 1 six and 6 boundaries in 64 balls, followed by Pooja Vastrakar came to bat, and she dismissed jsut for 11 runs in 11 balls as sixth wicket in fourth ball of the final over, the team score was 268 runs, next batsman Deepti Sharma came to bat and she remains unbeaten for 1 run with Mithali Raj and Mithali Raj played a very brilliant unbeaten half-century inning of 66 runs with the help of 3 boundaries in 81 balls. In this way, India Women batted first after winning the toss scored 270 runs for losing 6 wickets in stipulated 50 overs and set a target of 271 runs for New Zealand Women.
New Zealand Women's bowlers Sophie Devine took 2 wickets, Jess Kerr, Rosemary Mair, Fran Jonas, and Amelia Kerr got 1-1 wicket.
New Zealand Women chased the target of 271 runs very easily by losing just 7 wickets in 49th over and won the match by 3 wickets,New Zealand Women started the inning not very well, Sophie Devine and Suzie Bates came to start the inning, the first wicket has gone for 35 runs in 4.4 over, Suzie Bates dismissed for 16 runs in 14 balls, next batsman Amelia Kerr came to bat and handled the inning with Sophie Devine, the second wicket has gone for 52 runs in 7.6 over, Sophie Devine dismissed after scoring 33 runs in 30 balls, next batsman Amy Satterthwaite came to bat, and she dismissed without scoring as third wicket in 8.5 over, the team score was 55 runs, followed by Maddy Green came to bat handled the inning and played a very brilliant cantury partnership of 128 runs with Amelia Kerr, the fourth wicket has gone for 183 runs in 33.3 over, Maddy Green dismissed after playing a very brilliant half-century inning of 52 runs with the help of 5 boundaries in 61 balls, next batsman Brooke Halliday came to bat, and played well for a while with Amelia Kerr, the fifth wicket has gone for 200 runs in 36.6 over, Brooke Halliday dismissed for 13 runs in 17 balls, next batsman Katey Martin came to bat and played well with Amelia Kerr, the sixth wicket has gone for 239 runs in 45.1 over, Katey Martin dismissed after scoring 20 runs in 25 balls, followed by Hayley Jensen came to bat, and she dismissed just for 4 runs as seventh wicket in 47.3 over, the team score was 253 runs, followed by Jess Kerr came to bat, and she remains unbeaten for 6 runs with Amelia Kerr, and Amelia Kerr played a very brilliant unbeaten century and victory inning of 119 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in 135 balls. In this way, New Zealand Women chasing 271 runs in the second inning achived the target very easily by losing just 7 wickets in 49 overs and won the match by 3 wickets.
India Women's ballers Deepti Sharma took 4 wickets for 52 runs, Rajeshwari Gayakwad, Poonam Yadav, and Poonam Yadav got 1-1 wicket.
New Zealand Women's batsman Amelia Kerr was selected as the best player of the match, she played a very brilliant unbeaten century and victory inning of 119 runs with the help of 7 boundaries in 135 balls.
