Happy Birthday Prof Yateghtegh; A letter to Self

Dear Self,

I have watched myself grow into a very stronger version of myself. I know I don’t give myself enough credit and love I deserve and I can be hard on myself sometimes. I set expectations that may belittle myself because I think they are impossible to reach. I set bridges too high because I want to reach for the stars with my feet on the ground, for no goal is impossible to achieve. People see the sky as their limit but the sky is my starting point. On this day of my birthday, I’m going to tell myself how proud I am of the person I'm becoming.

I have grown into an incredible, confident, kind, intelligent and wonderful soul. There is no one like myself, not even a single person can measure up. I am becoming that person I’ve always wanted to be. I'll shine in whatever I do.

I make mistakes. Lots of them. But I'll never fail to learn from them. I choose to see the good in people and stand up for whatever I believe in even if it sometimes means standing alone.

I love myself very much.
