MEANING OF EID UL FITR*
Eid is an Arabic word which means; Happiness; celebration; Farhat and Chahal are of leisure while Fitr means breaking the fast; It means breaking or ending the fast. On the day of Eid al-Fitr, the series of fasts ends, on this day Allah rewards the servants for fasting and worshiping Ramadan, so this festival is called Eid al-Fitr
