I wore my induction outfit to work today and this time there was a huge difference. Not only have I lost weight but this time, there's a whole lot of responsibility.
Everyone was reminding me of how intentionally beautiful I am as a Pharmacist and commending my dressing.
Omo, I wear what I sell and I sell what I wear so do well to DM me for clothes, shoes, bags, skincare products and scents (buy now that I'm informing you oh).
Then the next catch phrase is pharm, you get money oh. You know, there's a certain perception that pharmacists have money. Infact there's this new one
"Pharmacist wey no get money na patient oh🤣"
The title reality is what pharmacists face because once someone hears you're a pharmacist, or sees you wearing ward coat there's that automatic perception that you're in money.
They'll tell you you're in so much money and failure to accept is of no use to them. I mean there's no amount of English that will convince them otherwise.
As such you actually have to work so hard to make that money because several times, they'll be people in your life and in your journey who will have to depend on you for one financial need or the other and you'll be willing to help if you have.
On the flip side, dear pharmacist, make money oh, you can decide to start a skincare, hair or fashion business like I did because wahala for who dey wait for salary.
Alerts just dey drop for my phone because of businesses ear and dia and I spend, save and invest. Go out there and make money because unapplied knowledge and skills don't pay bills.
To my dear reader learn to stop over explaining yourself to people. There are people who have an already established mindset about you such that no matter your explanation, you can't change their perception.
There are people who feel you're bad and no matter what you do to them, it really doesn't change anything. Just live your life and own your reality. We go dey alright eventually.
