BLURT; a home for all.

My friend Paul is a freak as far as the internet is concerned. Since he’s jobless, all he does is press his phone throughout the day and night. You’d find him on almost every social media platform that exists on planet earth.

He spends at least 5,000 naira ($11) on data a month.

I visited him 6 months ago and discovered he was spending so much time and money (data) on the internet and gaining nothing in return. As a good fellow, I begged him to put his time and resources into something useful (Blurt). After arguing for what almost seemed like a lifetime, he opt in and I helped him sign up.

He sent me 2,000 naira today ($4) as a token of appreciation for informing him about this great Platform. My joy knows no bounds.

Some people are like my friend Paul. They’re wasting good resources on non- profitable things. I’m here today to liberate you. Join Blurt today and thank me later.

Blurt is a site, a blockchain based blogging platform where the users known as blurtians create contents and are rewarded by other users. It is a blog for all and sundry. Anyone writes about anything (as far as it’s original or cited) and gains rewards for such posts.

  1. Helping people (bloggers) grow: A good number of people write good contents. However, they have little or no means of channeling their ideas across for people to go through and learn from. Blurt serves as an aid to such people. Users of Blurt write nicely on diverse topics. Users and non users who read these contents are opened to meeting new and glorious ideas form people all over the world. They get to learn about other people’s cultures and opinions. They grow and become better people as a result.

  2. Rewarding good deeds: Blurt has an upvote button. Bloggers who write or create good contents are upvoted and rewarded. They gain from their sweat and are happy.

  3. Non Plagiarism: Plagiarism is an act of taking someone else’s work or ideas as if they were yours. Blurt shuns plagiarism and embraces originality. It discourages stealing people’s works. It challenges all users to be original and put in efforts to be better bloggers and writers.

  4. Freedom of Speech: Blurt encourages everyone to pour out their minds and ideas. Everyone is given the chance to freely express themselves. No one discourages anyone and that’s why there’s no downvote option. All users can come to the Blurt platform and write about anything without getting insulted or abused.

It is a very wonderful platform for all bloggers (Rookies and professionals). If you’re not BLURTING, you don’t know what you’re missing.
