Hi friends everyone
Today I will be back in the midst of all my dear friends to share some portraits of paradise flowers which are easy to find in the lowlands of aceh, these great plants usually thrive in the open, when in spring all the way will look like the paths of heaven that beautiful.
In the past this plant was often used as a traditional medicinal ingredient, the concentrated latex content in it is very good for treating wounds, there are also some people with toothache who apply the sap to tooth cavities but this is not good because it might cause tooth loss. The sap of this plant has a thick white color.
I'm sure my friends are familiar with this beautiful flower, especially friends who live in an agricultural environment, because basically this plant will easily grow in straw with super fertile soil conditions, this plant also has fruit in which there are soft cotton content (I will share about this another time).
Biduri or widuri (Calotropis gigantea) is a type of plant that is common in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, Sri Lanka, India and China. This plant is a large shrub that can reach 4 m. Also called Kapuk Duri. The flowers are waxy with white or purple. The leaves are ovoid in shape, with a distinctive pale green color and the stems secrete a milky white latex. Wikipedia
What comes to your mind when you see the photos I share?
I personally focused on the top flower because it looks like the Acehnese groom's skullcap or the crown of the Acehnese king in the past, different from the others bosqu.
This flower has its own characteristics and is very much different from the flower species in Aceh, even though it has never been specially cultivated by the community but it still looks beautiful even though it grows on the streets or in the wilderness, it is already beautiful from its creator even without human interference.
Thank you very much for visiting my blog, those are some portraits of Widuri & see you on another occasion with a different portrait.
