The Commandant has deemed it fit to create an avenue as part of the activities marking the Diamond jubilee anniversary of the Nigerian Defence Academy to enlightened and education the public about the importance of military to protect the civilians during wars and armed conflict which has become so common around this part of the world and a major threat to National Security.
This has also been a major set back for the security team to curb the current security challenges we face in the country, the locals of these communities who are under attack seems to be liaison with the group perpetrating these acts feeding them with information about the movement of the team. However, at this point there's need to educate and sensitize them of the dangers involved.
