Serving in the Defence Academy is one of the best experience I ever had the experience is just superb, ranging from the military parade to work experience I can happily tell you it's a place you will love to visit. I have a good knowledge about the the military, how they operate and speak. The short time has actually gathered so many encounter both good and ugly ones but I consider it all to be part of life which usually comes in different phases.

Serving here has given me access to high ranking officers, Lieutenant Colonel, Colonels and class of Generals that troop in and out of the Academy either for a course or visit. I strongly believe that I have a purpose of being here I to achieve it most likely at the end of my service year come June/July.

Specifically, I'm serving under the Department of Intelligence and Security Studies comprising of both undergraduates and postgraduate Students. I serve as the research assistant to the Head of the Department who is a senior course lecturer, I stand in for him on Fridays because his lectures with Postgraduates students commence from Friday. These gentlemen Cadets are good when it comes to intelligent analysis and are physically fit for the job, we engage in meaningful conversation at leisure discussing issues of the moment and how they can be curb or curtail the ugly security challenges in country as future leaders (Generals) that will decide for the country some day. it has always been an interesting session with the cadets, I'm always grateful for this great opportunity to serve in the Military Environment nothing short of a wonderful experience.
