Blurt Medical Center: Giving Meaning to a Meaningless life

1.0 Introduction

Every day that we live, and every breath that we take, should be filled with love and respect for ourselves and for others. Good health is central to human happiness and well-being that contributes significantly prosperity and wealth and even economic progress, as healthy populations are more productive, serve more and live longer. Health has an important role in feeling happy, as there are many people who suffer from various diseases, but the health enables them to fight diseases, as a result they achieve physical fitness and feel comfortable or enjoy life like any normal person.

Therefore, a healthy person is a person who is able to serve himself, his nation and his community. An unhealthy person who suffers from illness sees him weak and meager, unable to properly carry out the duties and responsibilities incumbent on him. When the disease develops, the person becomes dependent on other people and cannot meet his different need in life, which affects his psyche as well due to his sense of helplessness and weakness.

Today, our hearts are filled with joy because; we have laid a foundation in regards to this. Today we acquired land for our blurt Hospital . .

This article will expose the urgent need of a medical center to this vulnerable community; the vision behind the blurt Medical center, and a support to enable me visualize this gigantic project.

2.0 The need for a medical center

Your health is your wealth, so they said. ‘Selagi’, is predominantly a rural community lagging behind in basic social amenities. Rural residents often encounter barriers to health care that limit their ability to obtain the care they need. In order for rural residents to have sufficient access, necessary and appropriate health care services must be available and obtainable in a timely manner.

A community that depends on native medication[ Natural Herbs]; in this era of modernization. This implies that, these people have lost touch of civilization right from antiquity. They involve themselves in a try and error solutions with these herbs which at times works for them; and often times, fails them leading into untimely deaths of so many persons in the community. With all these scenarios, it was a wake up call for me as their pastor to contribute towards their well-being. Immediately, I had to make contacts in the urban areas to seek professional pharmacist, and to make a huge purchase of medicine for our community. @offgridlife also gave me some quotations that will be helpful in setting up a hospital . This looked so huge but am continence that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a step . You don’t win if you don’t try . There’s no shame in trying . A coward dies hundred times before his death. These and many other inspirational quotes have spark my desire to begin this work .

I boldly say I AM NOT AFRAID TO BEGIN SOMETHING. They ain’t funds gathered in a single account to fast track work . We shall move step by step as grace leads us through .

I have told them that blurt international is building a hospital for them ; they were so excited .. . I also told them that blurt is gonna open many doors of life opportunities .. i have decided that anything I do now , I do it in the name of blurt . Blurt must be known everywhere .

What the medical care center will do

The whole idea of this medical center is that: It will provide overall physical, social, and mental health status of each an every member of this community.
It will serve as a center for disease prevention, detection, diagnosis and treatment of all kinds of illness; and to avoid preventable deaths.
This will also be an opportunity to provide a safe environment for people who are not safe in their homes or safe in the community because of either their infectious state or because of abuse of any type. So, health care facilities have always played a significant role in society, seen as a refuge for the sick and a place for help and healing.

4.0 Conclusion

From the forgoing, I have made claims towards the importance of a healthy life style of each an every individual; and my immediate community at large. The society becomes redundant when its members suffer one illness or the other. It is affected badly by the presence of these diseases among its members, as the productivity of these patients weakens and they become dependent on society. If we get this hospital working, it will be easier to treat minor and serious diseases, illness and disorder. It will save members of this community from traveling miles away into the urban areas to seek medical attention. For this project to come to its realization, we must think blurt and live blurt . Blurt family cannot go to bed nor give sleep to their eyes until we get this done !
Together we have always achieved and brought smiles on faces of many . Here we are at it again .
