I am sharing an Amaryllis that someone gave me for the holidays. I am going to try and grow it in my plant room. The roots were cut before bulb was covered with wax. I have it currently in a pot and there is new growth, so i am hopeful.

Comparto una Amaryllis que alguien me regaló para las fiestas. Voy a intentar cultivarla en mi cuarto de plantas. Las raíces fueron cortadas antes de que el bulbo fuera cubierto con cera. Actualmente lo tengo en una maceta y hay un nuevo crecimiento, así que tengo esperanzas.

Regrettably it has been awhile since I published something. As usual I am always very busy, and then I got sick. Was concerned it was Covid, but the tests came back negative. Influenza also came back negative. For someone who never gets sick it was rough. I still do not have my full energy back. A couple of days ago I tried to brings some wood into the garage to heat my house. It set me back a little and exhausted me. Today I am having a teenager help me so I do not overdo it.

I want to briefly mention an interesting platform that is in someway similar to twitter. It is still in alpha development, so one does not know exactly how this will evolve. It pays in BCH (Bitcoin Cash), so you need a wallet like Atomic Wallet so you can receive tips. You cannot put any BCH in at this time, but noise.cash gives you a little to start with. It gets used up quickly when you tip someone's publication. BUT, they replenish your tip wallet depending on how you use it. Do not tip yourself only because they may not give you anymore. I started with the tip wallet set at 20%....so I get 20% of the tip and the author gets 80%.

When I look at photos of daisies it brings back memories of my childhood and the many wild daisies that grew on my parents property. They also bloomed when summer was at its best.

Then there is the black-eyed daisy. As a child I remember it being called a black-eyed-susan.

I am not sure what flower this is. Macro-views can change the looks of the flower. This may be a flower from a sweet pea plant.

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T5 for most photographs, except where noted. I do have an older PowerShot Canon camera that I use from time to time. Wildlife is usually taken by a stationary trail camera that takes photos based on motion.
