Introduction
Greetings great people of Blurt Community! I want us to know that what we call Technology today is something God created us with, it is something that is Inside of us. If u don't have it inside you can't bring it outside.
Technology is Inside not in a book
I want us to know that there people we don't know, that are in the villages that have not really seen the four walls of Institution that are solving problems. Technology is all about solving problems, combining resource to see that a perceived problem is solved. You may not understand what am saying until u travel to the interior villages where there's no development. You would find people applying scientific knowledge without stress and solving problems.
Technology is defined as the application of scientific knowledge for the advancement or betterment of the society. I love the way it is defined in Wikipedia as shown below;
The word "technology" can also be used to refer to a collection of techniques. In this context, it is the current state of humanity's knowledge of how to combine resources to produce desired products, to solve problems, fulfill needs, or satisfy wants; it includes technical methods, skills, processes, techniques, tools and raw materials. When combined with another term, such as "medical technology" or "space technology," it refers to the state of the respective field's knowledge and tools. "State-of-the-art technology" refers to the high technology available to humanity in any field.

When growing up as a child, each time we hear the word Technology it sounds like something that is beyond realization, something that needs so much resources to actualize.
From the above definition, we can see that technology is simply the act of combining resource together in other to solve problems and achieve desired results.
There are places in Africa where men and women are combining resource to solve problems, but to them what they are doing is just looking for a way to make ends meet. They don't know what technology is but their daily activities is really putting to practice what is written in our school books.
I went to a place in Benue State Nigeria where there's a big river that obstructs the movement of vehicles. The road where this river is situated is a major road leading to major cities, the occupants of the land had to profer solution to the problem. They didn't travel outside Nigeria or went to the internet before solving the problem, they came together and used their natural endowment to solve the problem.
The occupants of that territory even though they were illiterates perceived the challenge, and equally brought a lasting solution to the problem. They had to bring resource together to create another vessel which would be used to carry vehicles across the river.
The people that built these vessel had never seen the four walls of any institution, but they could still bring out something that those that even saw the four walls of institution may no be able to do. Nigerians are blessed with men and women that are endowed with natural talent.
The vessel they made were of two types, one is controlled manually
And the second is controlled by the aid of a machine
Whenever any vehicle gets to that river all the passengers in the vehicle comes down and enters the vessel with their vehicles and the person in charge of the vessel drives the vessel to help the people cross the river.
For anyone to build a vessel that moves on top of water the builder must have a proper understanding of the law of floatation which is a topic taught in physics class, but these guys that constructed this vessel showed us that you don't have to be in the classroom to understand scientific principles.
Let's not allow what we feel as our deficiency hinder us from being relevant to our present environment, there is natural creative endowment in every man, let's find our own and utilize it.
There are villages in Africa where there are no health centers or medical personnels, but the people have a way of treating themselves of any illness and they equally have their way of helping women during their time of labour.
