I love coffee, but trying not to drink too much. I used to drink up to 6 cups a day.
These days i leave it for occasions. . . Have one about every two weeks or so.
But i sooo love the taste ☕️

What would you like, Coffee or Tea?
Do you sub for anything else?
No, i did for a while. . .with green tea, then matcha, or occasionally chai.
But these days i only drink water. And the occasional coffees. Or one of the above. But i really check in with myself and the answer is most of the time water. . .
I drink a lot of herbal tea but yeah listening to ones energy is a good thing to do... Reishi and cacao is awesome too!
Cacao, i have in smoothie actually, every morning.
Reishi is great too.
I think its all about seeing what we need. I used to drink coffee absent mindedly, then swappend to the other hot beverages to do the same. But most of the time i was drinking them out of boredom, or procrastination.
I was so wired this arvo that I could have cried...then remembered how freaking awesome licorice tea is at lowrering cortisol!!! Felt so much better. Add a bit of hops and tulsi and... voila... caffeine jitters evened out lol. Tomorrow I'll try not having the coffee? Facepalm
'This arvo' 😅, always make me giggle, we really don't use that here in the UK, so when i first heared it, I was WTF?!? I thought my friend was speaking another language.
And yes, liqorice is sooo good. And personally i think a hot beverage in the afternoon is nice, so enjoy.
My journey with coffee has been long and complicated. Its like one of those love stories. . .'can't libe with or without you' 😅 (im such a dramatic pisces 😅), but just because Im strong at the moment and have self control, does not mean that especially in the winter i won't find myself with cups of black coffees every day 🙈
And that is OK, we are only human. . .
Ha a dramatic Pisces to my emotional Cancer moon and dramatic Libran sun 🤪 .. I hear ya! I need to quit for a week as my anxiety is at fever pitch.
Lol I recall the first month living in UK and I was asking about rego (car tax there, our car registration) and everyone in the room started pissing themselves laughing at me. Needless to say I stopped saying g'day, arvo and rego pretty fast. Facewasher became flannel etc etc.
Now my English hubs here in Australia says gday, rego and arvo to fit in 😂😂
Afternoon takes waaay too long to say 😂😂
LoL, my friend said the same, the afternoon is too long to say 😂
Btw, this morning was one of those mornings, that my body said a big f@ckin' YES to coffee 😅🤣😂
If it wasn't for the Blurt meet up I would still be snoozing. . .
Yes, the taste is hard to resist. I used to drink every day.
Then I learned it's not so good for me. So I've tried to not drink it often.
Thanks for sharing your experience about it with me :)
