A lot of phone users are addicted to our smartphones, according to a recent research, and it is definitely not as harmless as it looks. If you’re someone who simply can’t go to the bathroom without your phone, there are risks you need to consider. Not only can carrying your smart phone to the bathroom be harmful for our health, but it impacts our minds and how well we work.
However, this are 3 reasons why no one should stop using your phones when using the toilet.
1). It may increase your chance of getting hemorrhoids
Sitting down on the toilet and using your phone is bad for your buttocks. sitting for a long time, which can happen in case you get exceptionally occupied in your smartphone, can up your chance of getting hemorrhoids.
2). It can spread lots of harmful bacteria to your body
Researches have found alot of pathogens on phones, including MRSA and Streptococcus. The rest room is One of the worst places to use your smart phone. When you wipe your ass or flush the toilet, they spread germs everywhere, which is how phones end up with fecal bacteria like E. coli.
E coli is a harmful bacteria that is gotten from water or food that has been contaminated with feces, but that’s not the only harmful bacteria you can pick up in the bathroom.
3) It can limit our thinking capacity
Mobile phones obviously distract alot of people today including me even without being in the toilet, therefore it is good for us to not always be on our phone all the time, which can be done by switching our phone off and reading or doing house dutie or any thing that doesn't involve starring at screen if we do so on a daily basis our thinking capacity won't be limited. But if we continue to use our smart phone even in the restroom it can really affect the way our brain function.
