The Northern Braves picked up their first win of the T20 Super Smash season, losing to Auckland Aces by four wickets with 13 balls to spare on Friday night in Hamilton.

Due to Auckland's boundary restrictions at the start of the Super Smash season, the Aces were keen to start the game at the end, but it was a mixed performance from them.
Black Caps are full of black caps on both teams, it promises to be a quality match and it survives that billing.

The match, however, was roughly decided by Auckland's terrible batting fall, who were bowled out for 101-1 to 165 after 11.1 overs.
