Today is the worst Day of my life

I went out today for an errand my dad sent me to get him some stuffs from the tuck shop and I came back with what he sent to get for him although he was at sleep when I arrived , and I did what he asked me to do with the items I got for him then I left the house to my friends place to get some of his past question papers for an up coming exam I'm preparing for .

I spent almost four hours because we were both talking about his academy and sharing my experience about 2 tertiary institute I'm in ,we spoke about many other things because I haven't seen him for about a year since we saw ourselves last .

When I finally got home it wasn't dark at all because I was on curfew in my parents house,so I came back very early than usual then my mom started telling me how my dad talked with her about me that I left the house without telling him were I was going , to be honest I didn't want to wake him up and ask for permission because he once told me that if he's sleeping I shouldn't disturb him so I guess I stood by his words and left the house .

My dad came back and started talking to me that I left the house without me telling him were I was going and that he sent me then I told him that I've already done what he wanted me to do for him. He spoke to me for hours and I was sitting down there without saying till he finished what he was say and left my room.

I was sad because the main reason I left the house was to the past question paper for the exam I'm preparing for and he sees it a way i was lying , while i was actually telling the truth . it's hurtful to know that i've been trying to make him proud but he's clearly not seeing it that way.
