Is That A Road or A River!?! 😳

Hi, all Blurtains!! Is your area flooding when it rains hard?

I’ve been living in Chiang Mai for weeks. I remember when in the tribe where I’m from there was a lot of rain because it’s way high up on the mountains but CM wasn’t that much rain. Until two weeks ago CM had a big storm. Unfortunately that day I went to visit my aunt then on the way back I stopped at Tesco Lotus to buy some meat. Suddenly I heard the rain was pouring down like nonstop. It had been like that for hours. I tried to wait until the rain stopped but it seemed like not going to, so I decided to drive a motorbike in the rain. It was quite scary and dangerous but I wanted to get home, but I didn’t know the road that took me to my place was flooding. OMG! I was shocked when I saw the water. It was high up over my knees. So I tried another road but the same. The road looked like a big river. It was very dangerous especially for motorbikes. To be honest I was scared but I had no choice but to drive through the water. So I tried so hard and told myself I could do it and I did it!! 😮‍💨 I couldn’t believe what happened.

By the way, I was by myself and I wanted to show @world-travel-pro how bad outside it was. So I decided to film a couple short videos and when I got home I just showed it to him. He was like… WTF! 😬 😂 Here is a video!!

    I remember my school's soi once flooded so much that the janitor brought out a little paddle boat and would paddle students from one school building to the other.
