MESSAGE:
Gratitude is a powerful emotion that transforms one’s heart and brings one closer to God. In the Bible, we are repeatedly reminded to give thanks to the Lord for all that He has done for us and to trust in His goodness and mercy.
Apostle Paul, in today’s memory verse, reminds us that gratitude is not a temporary feeling; rather, it is a deliberate choice that we make. Gratitude shows that a fellow trusts in God's plans for his or her life, even in trying times.
You can choose to be grateful because you know that God is always with you, working all things together for your good. In today’s Bible reading, we see that gratitude flows from a deep connection with Christ, being rooted in His love and strength. When we are filled with thanksgiving, it is a sign that we have an intimate relationship with our Lord, and His grace is at work in us.
My dear child, strive to be rooted in your relationship with Christ so that your life can be filled with gratitude to God always. Is your gratitude dependent on circumstances?

HYMN 37, LET US WITH A GLADSOME MIND
Let us, with a gladsome mind,
Praise the Lord, for He is kind;
For His mercies shall endure
Ever faithful, ever sure.Let us sound His name abroad,
For of gods He is the God;
For His mercies shall endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.He with all-commanding might
Filled the new-made world with light;
For His mercies shall endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.All things living He doth feed;
His full hand supplies their need;
For His mercies shall endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.He His chosen race did bless
In the wasteful wilderness;
For His mercies shall endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.He hath with a pious eye
Looked upon our misery;
For His mercies shall endure,
Ever faithful, ever sure.Let us with gladsome mind
Praise the Lord, for He is kind;
For His mercies shall endure,
ever faithful, ever sure.
