The devil always targets God's children; therefore, the need to be vigilant at all times cannot be overemphasized.

According to our Bible reading for today, Jesus admonished His disciples to watch and pray because He understood that watching and praying is important when it comes to preventing sin.

He spent a lifetime watching His human nature so closely that He never sinned. He knew that once He sinned, he would become vulnerable to the devil.
