Become aware of your identity in Christ. You are of God, little children, and have overcome them because greater is he that is in you than he that is in the world (1 John 4:4). As a result, you cannot fail or be defeated in life. This is what life in Christ is all about.

TOPIC:
HOW TO EXPERIENCE THE HIGHER LIFE IN CHRIST
TEXT:
Philippians 3:12-16
KEY VERSE:
"But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day" (Proverbs 4:18).
MESSAGE:
It is said that every gift on God's table has a price tag. To experience the higher life in Christ there is a price to pay. To experience the blessing from God and enter into His rest you have a price to pay. We will look at a few of the prices to pay to experience the fullness of God's blessing in Christ.
The first thing anyone who wants to go far with God will do is to enter into a covenant with God. The second thing you must do to experience a higher life is to maintain an unwavering focus on God. From the life of Apostle Paul we see a good example of a man of unwavering focus. A man who will continue to make great exploits is a man of great focus. Both success and failure can be a distraction if not properly managed. Every level in life is a test for another level.
Thirdly, to experience a higher life in Christ, you must pay the price of capacity development. Develop capacity and build competence in whatever you do in the kingdom. Be productive. Go for knowledge. Do not stop until you stand before kings. Be the best in your career. When you become valuable and competent in your assignment, God will connect you to those who need what you can offer.
CONTROLLING THOUGHT:
Both success and failure can be a distraction if not properly managed
PRAYER:
O Lord do not allow me to entertain trival mentality until I see you in glory.
